SubaByte is an independent software studio registered in England and Wales. We keep the team deliberately small so each product receives focused attention — from the first idea through design, engineering, and App Store release.

We build out of genuine interest in the craft: tools that teach, experiences that respect your time, and apps that do not ask for more data than they need. More products are on the way; each one is meant to stand on its own.

An interactive cryptography learning lab for iOS. Explore ciphers, hashing, digital signatures, authentication, blockchain demos, and build-your-own encryption pipelines — with calculated values at every step so you see why verification succeeds or fails.

Classic ciphers (Caesar, Vigenère, Playfair) through modern AES and RSA encryption labs.

Digital signatures and authentication: RSA challenge–response login, TOTP authenticator codes, and HMAC challenge–response.

Blockchain and cryptocurrency sandboxes — including optional nearby peer sessions on your local network.

Not a wallet. Demo keys and currencies exist only for learning.

Privacy-first peer-to-peer chat for people on call. Private invite-only groups, short-lived topics, and encrypted phone-to-phone messages — with no NightOwl server holding your history.

iCloud is only the doorbell so peers can find each other; chat never sits in our cloud.
